The WUMPUS world
A New World
The Wumpus World is a dangerous 4 by 4 square grid ruled by the wumpus. It includes an unknown number of wumpus pits and of course a scary wumpus monster that smells absolutely horrid. Legend has it though that somewhere in the wumpus world lies a pile of gold, waiting for one brave robot to give it a home.

Has its rules
Knowledge is Power: Wumpologists have been studying the Wumpus world for a while now and have been able to gather some valuable data from brave robots who attempted the mission and unfortunately lost their lives in the process. The entrance of the world seems to be the square at the bottom left corner of the grid. Using light/color sensor beam technology the robot should be able to predict danger before coming in contact with either the pit or the wumpus. Squares with pits release breeze signals that can only be felt if you are in a square next to the occupied square. The number of pits around does not change the amount of breeze sensed by the sensor. Similarly, the wumpus monster can only be smelt if in an adjacent square.
